I am a Data and Research Scientist with a special interest in innovative data-oriented projects.
I study how to leverage technology to solve issues of social significance.
After several years working in industrial R&D projects, I decided to continue my education with a specialization in Data Science and Machine Learning through a Masters of Science in Foundations of Data Science by the university of Barcelona (UB).
I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Algorithmic Fairness, which aims to detect, characterize and mitigate discrimination arising from the use of Machine Learning based systems.
During my career, I have been author and/or coauthor of more than 15 scientific publications and up to 5 patents published in the U.S. patents office.
